Ecstatic Dance
Dance freely with us to welcome the coming season of Yule at Movement Arts Gloucester with special guest musical artist and dj, Eir. Join a beautiful dancing community, in a space made for movement. We will have tea, a lounge area, and a collaborative altar. Eir will ignite the evening with sounds ranging from etheric downtempo to world beats and house and everything in between. Be swept up into a world of inspiration for a season of magic to rejuvenate your body, mind and soul. Come dressed to move, whether that’s in your most comfortable clothing, or festive-wear. (Indoor) Flow toys for movement are welcome. Optional: your own cup for drinking tea, something to place upon the altar.

Through years of meditation, yoga, herbalism training, a journey through motherhood, vocal activation and esoteric studies, her musical avatar, Eir was born. Her original music blends the etheric and esoteric with the physical world. Alexandra has been teaching yoga and meditation for almost two decades and is an herbalist, sound healer, multi-instrumentalist and recording artist. Allow her to cradle you in the sonic womb of her healing symphony and enjoy the journey.

Cacao Ceremony & Ecstatic Movement
Join me for a special Yuletide Cacao event Saturday, December 16th in a magical portal yurt on a gorgeous tulips and alpaca farm.
This winter solstice, we invite you to immerse yourself in a guided, spiritual plant medicine ceremony with the “Food of the Gods”, Cacao. We will connect to our inner Flame in the core of our infinite heart center, connect with your inner light, and find inner harmony and expansion of consciousness through this magical plant teacher. Finding our Light in the Darkness of Winter.
This two-hour experience will include drinking ceremonial cacao, breathwork, meditation, movement, and more. Wear comfortable and WARM clothes (bring layers), an eye mask if you prefer one for meditation, and a journal if it’s in your practice. Please also bring a yoga mat, blanket, pillow and whatever else you need to feel comfortable and cozy. Bringing your own special mug for cacao is also welcome.
