Every tincture and ceramic piece begins with a meditation

With intention and communion with the plant spirit, each tincture and product is made with guidance and gratitude, a blessing, sustainable, sacred smoke, a card reading, and chanting.

Tinctures are made under the full moon, and left to brew for a full lunar cycle until they are bottled again after the next full moon.

The Light Body, or ‘Merkaba’, is a vehicle of divine light and energy, encompassing all elements, which allows you to ascend to your highest self. Light Body products are made with your spiritual ascension in mind, to maximize and harmonize your body, mind and spirit on your journey.

Our Story

Alexandra began Light Body Apothecary after a decade exploring healing and spiritual modalities all over the world. After recovering from an eating disorder, and training as a yoga and meditation teacher, Alexandra spent the past 8 years traveling the globe exploring spiritual and medicinal practices from biodynamic energy in Indonesia, to breathwork in India, and ceremonial plant experiences. However, she still struggled with chronic issues like sciatic pain, skin flare ups, digestive issues, and reproductive challenges.

And then…it happened…

In deep meditation one morning, the plants called to her. She began her journey as an Herbal Apprentice with the School of the Sacred Wild in California.

Through meditating, studying and speaking with plant and herbal allies daily, she awakened a connection with mother earth, her ancestors, the plants, and her body. She healed her body, began her moon cycle, and even became pregnant. Her immunity, vitality, spirituality and even sex life transformed.

Her connection to the plants grew as she began growing herbs and making medicines for family and friends.

The power of these gentle plant spirits cannot be overstated, if we just pause, connect, listen, receive, allow and express gratitude. Just as the healing power of the sacred mushroom, and grandmother ayahuasca, these more gentle plants transform and heal with an energy just as powerful.
